About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Conveyancing, Family Law and/ or Wills & Estates Paralegal to join our dedicated team at Michelle Porcheron Lawyers' in Bundall, Queensland. This full-time position is an integral part of our legal services, providing crucial support to our lawyers and clients in the areas of family law and wills and estates.
What you'll be doing
* Providing administrative and legal support to our family law and wills and estates teams, including drafting correspondence, taking notes in client meetings, and preparing documents
* Conducting legal research and assisting with case preparation
* Liaising with clients, courts, and other parties to coordinate appointments, exchange information, and support the legal process
* Residential conveyancing A - Z
* Providing exceptional customer service to our clients throughout their legal matters
What we're looking for
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a paralegal, preferably in a family law or wills and estates environment or available to current law students or recent graduates
* Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders
* Proficient in using legal software and technology to support your work
* A team player with a positive, proactive, and solution-oriented approach
* Tertiary qualifications in law or a related field, or a paralegal certificate, would be highly regarded
