**About the role**:
With views over the Broadwater and the Broadwater Parklands, our Gold Coast Visa Medical Assessment centre has been designed with comfort and sustainability at the forefront. Our **Southport Centre** is an easy walk to the light rail stop and Australia Fair Shopping Centre, as well as surrounded by parklands, cafes and restaurants and with the Bowlo and RSL nearby, you'll be able to enjoy your morning coffee looking out over the Broadwater, stop in to the shopping centre on your way home from work, or meet friends or family nearby for dinner nearby!
As our **Medical Assessment Centre Manager**, you'll lead a team of clinical and non-clinical staff in delivering our medical assessment services. You'll be accountable for the financial, operational and clinical quality and safety of the Centre, including making sure we're meeting our customer experience and contract KPIs.
**A typical day involves;**
- Ensuring the centre is financially viable through making sure expenditures are appropriate, suppliers are paid correctly, and staffing levels are optimised
- Championing the customer experience, through engaging, coaching, and listening to team members and customer feedback, to maintain an excellent level of service
- Managing customer escalations
- Managing contracted third party service providers to perform services to required standards
- Forecasting and planning to anticipate and meet current and future business needs.
- Monitoring and managing the centre and employees' compliance with: legal and regulatory standards, internal operating procedures, Bupa's risk and compliance policies, compliance training, frameworks and regulatory requirements
**You will**:
- Previous leadership experience leading a large team is a must for this position.
- Be a truly exceptional leader with a tangible focus on growing our people

- Have previous experience managing the P&L; of a health service, medical centre, or practice
- Show proven ability to set clearly defined objectives and measures to drive business outcomes and meet SLAs
- Be able react and adjust quickly to changing conditions and come up with practical ideas for dealing with them
