Your role
* Lead aviation security personnel to ensure consistent service delivery and regulatory compliance
* Support, coach, and mentor Team Leaders and frontline staff to maintain high performance
* Oversee shift operations, including team deployment, coordination of breaks, and addressing resourcing issues
* Respond to operational challenges, incidents, and performance concerns, escalating as required
* Liaise with airline representatives, airport authorities, and internal teams to ensure efficient day-to-day operations
* Promote a culture of Security with Service and Integrity
* Conduct compliance checks, ensure all equipment is operational, and brief staff on ad-hoc tasks
* Ensure accurate documentation and incident reporting in line with Certis policies
This Role Offers
This is a part-time position involving rotating shift work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays. Rostered hours are subject to flight schedules, and flexibility is essential to meet operational demands.
Applicants who do not currently hold a Certificate II in Transport Security Protection will be provided with the required training and support to obtain the qualification as part of the onboarding process.
* Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
* Fully certified and accredited to perform Aviation Security Operative duties
What you Bring
* Certificate II & III in Security Operations
* Current NSW 1A Security Licence (or equivalent SA licence)
* Valid Senior First Aid Certificate
* Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)

Skills & Attributes
* Demonstrated leadership in aviation or high-security environments
* In-depth understanding of aviation security standards, regulations, and SOPs
* High-level customer service and communication skills
* Ability to resolve conflicts, manage team performance, and maintain compliance
* Familiarity with Certis Standard Operating Procedures and WHS practices
* Professional appearance and a strong sense of integrity
