Store Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Store Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage store operations, including banking, budgets, and rosters.
2. Achieve sales targets by training, motivating, and mentoring staff.
3. Action staff hiring, promotions, and disciplinary procedures as required.
4. Ensure thorough induction and training for all new staff members.
5. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and a fully stocked store.
6. Manage all staff or customer issues (complaints, grievances, etc.).
7. Manage trade accounts for the store (if applicable).
8. Manage stock taking and stock control.
9. Manage receipt and distribution of shipments.
10. Maintain showroom and warehouse ensuring it is clean & safe at all times.
11. Reporting and sales management.
12. Implement, train, monitor, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Experience:
13. Management experience in the retail sector (plumbing or interior sales advantageous).
14. Experience in managing and meeting KPI's.
15. Good level of computer literacy and MS applications.
16. Ability to build effective working relationships.
17. Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
18. Staff and Customer management skills.
19. Strong organisational skills.
