Your role as a Home Lending Specialist is to deliver an exceptional experience by working with customers to meet their end‑to‑end banking needs. Whether you are guiding first home buyers to create a plan to purchase or supporting a seasoned investor, you'll play an integral part of helping our customers through the lending journey and driving growth. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term position located in Waurn Ponds Branch Victoria.
Responsibilities
* Build a pipeline of lending leads and nurture relationships using our CRM.
* Guide customers through the lending process, giving them peace of mind that we're here to help them achieve their goals.
* Leverage your credit analysis expertise and understanding of customer needs to ensure positive lending outcomes and future‑ready customers for financial success.
* Build strong relationship‑centric connections with the community, the branch and Branch Manager to deliver effective lending outcomes.

What You'll Bring to the Role
To succeed you'll consistently deliver exceptional customer service and you to have:
* Extensive experience in customer service or sales.
* High level of understanding of lending products, policies and regulations.
* An ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues and quickly assess their needs to develop a holistic view of their situation.
* Highly developed credit analysis skills.
* Understanding of small business offerings.
* Consumer lending experience (this is essential).
