Howard Smith Wharves is looking to appoint an Assistant Reservations Manager to work alongside the Group Reservations and VIP Manager, leading the team from our Brisbane office. You will focus on converting large incoming enquiries generated from digital marketing campaigns across the HSW hospitality venues.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Provide training, leadership, and direction to the Reservations Team to ensure high productivity, efficiency, and motivation, managing inbound calls, venue inboxes, and group bookings.
* Foster a positive work environment encouraging professional growth, teamwork, collaboration, and exceptional customer service.
* Oversee handling of all reservations, including direct and group bookings.
* Ensure reservations are processed accurately and efficiently, maintaining quality and consistency.
* Keep internal and guest-facing information up to date, including menus and opening hours on platforms and websites.
* Coordinate with kitchen and operations teams regarding upcoming bookings.
* Relay guest feedback to the Group Reservations and VIP Manager.
What We Are Looking For
* Experience leading a reservations department with multiple venues.
* Ability to build trust and solid relationships with stakeholders.
* Experience using the SevenRooms reservations system.
* Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
