Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance, repair, and optimization. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability and efficiency of mechanical systems, minimize downtime, and contribute to operational excellence.
We operate on a 12-hour rotating schedule from 7 to 7. Every four months, we rotate between day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of associated machinery.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure timely resolution.
* Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components to maintain system integrity.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and equipment performance.
* Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures.
* Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and modifications.
* Train and mentor junior technicians on equipment handling and safety protocols.
* Recommend upgrades or modifications to enhance system performance and efficiency.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all maintenance tasks.
* Collaborate with team members to develop preventive maintenance schedules.
Experience:
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics related to electrical systems.
* Strong background in facilities maintenance, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repair.
* Familiarity with using diagnostic tools.
* Increase production efficiency and contribute to the reduction of costs by making maintenance plans, improvements, and design.
* Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in mechanical maintenance.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics, and technical drawings.
* Proficiency in diagnostic tools and maintenance software.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Certification in safety protocols (e.g., OSHA) is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
