Are you a readily available Purchasing Coordinator with a flair for systems and training?
A leading engineering company is seeking an experienced Purchasing Coordinator to join a short-term project assisting the procurement team with a new purchasing system implementation. This is a hands-on role where your experience in SAP and stakeholder support will be critical to the project's success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a resource and support for the procurement team during a new system implementation.
* Ensure all purchase requisitions and purchase orders adhere to company policies and use correct supplier data.
* Proactively monitor for PO deviations and handle day-to-day supplier issues in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Assist in data cleaning activities to ensure master data (supplier details, tax codes, pricing) is accurate in the new system.
* Provide training and support to internal teams on new processes.
About You:
* Hands-on experience with procurement ERP systems, with a strong preference for SAP.
* A meticulous and organized professional with a keen eye for detail and compliance.
* A confident and strong communicator on the phone, teams and email.
