We have a really great opportunity for a suitably skilled Marketing Manager to join a growing group based in the Southport area. Reporting to the Director and leading a small team, your role will focus on planning and managing marketing activities across multiple brands and business units as well as overseeing external marketing agency input for the group.
This is an interesting company with a lot of potential and we are seeking a true strategic marketer that understands what is needed to engage the market and deliver results for the business.
**Who would it suit?**
What we would be looking for is a talented leader, experienced in formulating marketing strategy, is experienced in digital marketing, analytics, social media, web and copy-writing. You will be strategic, systemised, have strong skills in coordinating resources and understand online and social media management. You will also understand and be able to effectively manage marketing budgets.
**What you will be doing in the role**:
- Create, develop and implement marketing plans and strategies across all platforms for all brands within the business group
- Ensuring the brand(s) stay true to the business core values and identity
- Create and manage the marketing calendar and budget including online activity, campaigns, EDM's, promotions and events
- Create innovative campaigns and streamline processes for all marketing activities
- Manage social media accounts, build online communities and groups to assist in business development, creating engaging content that drives leads and brand awareness
- Oversee and drive performance of websites through online marketing activities designed to drive traffic and conversions
- Audit/manage external digital agencies regarding SEO, SEM and web design to ensure ROI and budgets meet business goals
- Develop strategic relationships direct with partners, collaborators and sponsors
- Identifying customer trends, sales and lead conversions
- Providing accurate reporting and analysis to assist in improved business outcomes and marketing spend
**Requirements for the role include**:
- Experience in a similar role, leading a marketing team
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or business preferred
- Strong knowledge in digital content creation and digital marketing
- Creative and innovative approach and self-directed to manage and own this role
- Knowledge of cross media advertising, social media and web marketing
- Experience with social media management, SEO, SEM, Google Business / Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, Instagram
- A good understanding of business and customer buying patterns
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Intermediate level skills across marketing platforms and web
- Excellent communication, grammatical and spelling skills
