Perioperative Nursing Role
This position involves ensuring the delivery of seamless, safe and patient-centred care in the perioperative journey.
* Transfer patients from wards and Day Surgery to the operating theatres.
* Provide safe, person-centred clinical care during patient transfers.
* Support perioperative workflow and maintain timely theatre schedules.
* Communicate effectively with surgeons, anaesthetists and nursing teams.
* Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and adaptability in a busy environment.
* Promote a culture of safety, empathy and respect across all interactions.
About You
You are a motivated and confident Registered Nurse who takes pride in delivering exceptional care.
* Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in perioperative or acute care nursing.
* Previous experience in theatre transport is highly regarded.
* Excellent communication, time management and clinical decision-making skills.
* A flexible and proactive approach to patient care.
