Your new role:
As Pharmacist Team Leader (Cancer), you will lead and deliver advanced cancer pharmacy services at Logan and Beaudesert Health Service. This role combines clinical expertise, leadership, and innovation to ensure safe, evidence-based, patient-centred care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing specialised cancer pharmacy services and clinical advice across inpatient and outpatient care.
- Leading and mentoring pharmacists, interns, and support staff to build team capability.
- Managing operational, governance, and quality systems to ensure safe and effective service delivery.
- Driving innovation, research, and service improvements in cancer pharmacy.
About you:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative pharmacy leader with advanced expertise in cancer services. You will bring strong clinical knowledge, leadership skills, and a passion for quality and innovation in patient care.
You will demonstrate:
- Current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist and significant cancer pharmacy experience.
- High-level clinical, technical, and governance skills in cancer pharmacy practice.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills to develop and support multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to lead service improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
