About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager‐IT, you will be responsible for overseeing, developing, and optimising key business applications, including ERP, BI, and custom‐developed software. The role ensures systems are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs, while also contributing to strategic IT planning.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the end‐to‐end performance, reliability, and usability of key business applications to ensure they are fit‐for‐purpose and aligned with current and future business needs.
* Contribute technical oversight and guidance in projects and problem‐solving, especially where deep understanding of ERP, BI, or software development is required.
* Manage or oversee delivery of major application changes, upgrades, and system integrations, ensuring value to the business.
* Identify and implement opportunities to optimise existing applications and business processes through automation, configuration, or new technologies.
* Maintain close working relationships with key departments to ensure systems are aligned with operational needs and strategic goals.
* Implement and maintain application governance frameworks, including access controls, licensing, data privacy, and audit readiness.
* Provide direction and support to internal staff and third‐party vendors involved in application development and support.
* Work closely with the General Manager – IT to define and execute the applications strategy in line with the broader IT and business strategy.
* Have a strong commitment to a safe work environment and continuous improvement.
* Be a self‐starter and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
Essential Requirements
* Degree qualifications in Information Technology.
* Current driver's license (C class minimum).
Desirable Requirements
* ITIL Foundation.
* Agile or Scrum certification.
* BI platform certifications.
* Cloud platform certifications.
* DevOps or Software Development certifications.
