About the roles
Opportunities exist for casual and permanent roles at Lara. Nurses will be employed under the terms of an Enterprise Agreement, including:
* Registered Nurse salary range $74,481 - $102,248 (based on full-time) and $44 - $61 per hour for casual staff
* Annual increments to salary for Enrolled and Registered nurses
* Competitive shift and weekend allowances
* Generous annual leave, long service leave and continuing professional development leave

Skills and Experience
* Clinical nursing skills
* Team work oriented
The ideal candidate will have
* Appropriate nursing qualifications and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
* Current Immunisation Certificate
* Minimum one year of post-registration clinical experience
* Ability to work without direct, immediate supervision
* Ability to plan and coordinate patient care
* Competence in clinical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
* Ability to contribute to professional practice within the health facility
* Competence in written and verbal communication; basic computer literacy
* Clinical experience in primary health care is desirable
Other requirements
* Ability to work within a prison setting with direct contact to people in prison
* Satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Check
* Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
* Working outside ordinary business hours may be required
* Hold an immunisation provider certificate or be willing to obtain certification
