Our client, a highly respected and award-winning non-bank lender, is seeking a dynamic Credit Analyst to join their Specialist Lending team. The Opportunity In this role, you'll be responsible for assessing mortgage applications, further advances, and loan variations in line with established credit guidelines. You'll work closely with stakeholders across lending, product, and distribution, as well as fostering strong relationships with mortgage managers and introducers. Key responsibilities include: Assessing and approving applications within delegated authority Recommending approvals for applications outside authority Ensuring decisions are compliant with policies, regulations, and service standards Suggesting product and policy enhancements to maintain market leadership Supporting and educating sales teams and origination partners About You Experience: Minimum 2 years' mortgage underwriting experience Knowledge: Solid understanding of the mortgage market, lending policies, and relevant regulations Skills & Attributes: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent negotiation and communication skills Ability to handle high workloads while maintaining service excellence Proficiency in Microsoft Office High integrity, resilience, and a customer-first mindset Why This Role?
