Many of these services are also delivered through outreach programs to remote communities.
About the Role
We are seeking expressions of interest for a Practice Nurse (Registered Nurse) to work across our Northam site. This is a weekday position, with hours of work from Monday to Friday, 8.30 am – 4.30 pm.
Essential Selection Criteria
* Registered Nurse with unconditional AHPRA registration
* Strong work ethic with a commitment to high professional standards and ethical practice
* Demonstrated understanding of chronic disease management, health assessments, care plans, and team care arrangements
* High-level communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
* Understanding of the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) (desirable but not essential)
* High level of computer literacy, with the ability to learn new software systems; experience with Best Practice software is desirable but not essential
* Current knowledge of vaccinations and a National Immunisation Program (NIP) certificate
* Current National Police Clearance, Working with Children Check, WA Driver's Licence, and evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination
