Community care worker - aged care - nowra, culburra & surrounds

We are looking for a casual Community Care Worker to support seniors in the Bomaderry, Nowra, Culburra, Callala and surrounding areas. The role involves visiting clients in their homes or at our respite facilities, providing personal care, meal preparation, and companionship to help them maintain independence and quality of life.

• Provide personal care such as assisting with showering, medication support, and other personal support.
• Shop for grocery items and prepare meals.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks.
• Offer respite and social support, sharing common interests and providing companionship.
• Facilitate community access, including accompanying clients to events or appointments.

• Australian Federal Police clearance (no disclosable outcomes).
• First Aid Certificate.
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability or Home and Community Care) or equivalent (completed or in progress).
• Medication assistance certification or willingness to attain.
• Valid driver's licence with a safe driving record.
• Copy of uncertified driving record.
• Current car registration and comprehensive insurance.
• Working with Children Check clearance.
• COVID‐19 vaccination.
• Availability to work at least 5 days a week from Monday to Friday.

The schedule is flexible and may include a mix of mornings (starting at 7am) or afternoons/evenings up to 7pm. Shifts are typically 8‐hour or 10‐hour. Availability for at least 20 hours per week is preferred.

Pay is $40.84 per hour.
