Set to open in spring, Batard is 2024's most anticipated restaurant. Spanning four levels of restaurants, bars and more, this destination will capture the magic of Paris in a uniquely Melbourne way.
About LUCAS Restaurants:
Home to Australia's most beloved and acclaimed restaurants, including Chin Chin Melbourne and Sydney, Kisumé, Society, Yakimono, Grill Americano, Baby Pizza and Hawker Hall. Australian in our approach and unbound by dining traditions, creating venues and experiences to be shared with others.
About the Opportunity:
We are looking for the best Sommeliers in the industry. Work with the most talented wine team in Australia and join a team dedicated to excellence. Headed by Loic Avril and Yuki Hirose MS
Full-time and casual opportunities available.
- Sommelier experience
- Extensive knowledge of wine, new and old world
- Previous experience in delivering wine training is advantageous
- Experience with stock control and inventory management
- Must be up to date with industry trends
- Exceptional service skills and guest focus
- Highly adaptable and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
- Proven ability in building effective relationships
- Organisational and time management skills
- Exceptional communication and presentation
- Availability to work a rotating roster including opening and closing shifts, weekends and public holidays
- WSET or CMS certification advantageous
- A valid RSA certificate
