About the Role
As the IT Operations Team Leader, you'll be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team covering infrastructure, cloud engineering, database administration, networks, and operations support. You'll ensure systems run efficiently, securely, and reliably while driving improvements in processes, documentation, and service delivery.
This is a key leadership position working closely with senior IT stakeholders, business leaders, and external partners.
What You'll Be Doing
Infrastructure, Systems & Cloud
Lead and mentor the IT Infrastructure team across systems, cloud, networks, and support
Manage and optimise cloud platforms including Azure, Genesys Cloud, Atlassian Cloud
Oversee maintenance, upgrades, performance management, and health of infrastructure
Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and compliance with BCP policies
Operations & Service Delivery
Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues
Maintain documentation, procedures, and technical standards
Coordinate the implementation of changes, improvements, and new solutions
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of infrastructure health, automation scripts, and service delivery metrics
Security, Governance & Vendor Management
Support implementation of secure configurations and IT security policies
Work closely with IT Security and Architecture teams on controls, standards, and audits
Manage vendor relationships to ensure effective delivery of third‑party services
Projects & Continuous Improvement
Lead and contribute to IS projects across infrastructure and service operations
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and introduce efficiencies
Support budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
2–5 years as an IT Specialist in a medium‑sized IT environment
1–2 years' experience leading a small–medium technical team
Strong technical capability across Microsoft enterprise stack: AD, Exchange, SQL, Hyper‑V, SharePoint
Experience with Azure Cloud Services
Desirable
Microsoft/Cisco certifications (MCSA/MCSE)
ITIL certification
Project management experience
Experience in health, membership, or similar industries
