The BreastScreen Service at various Mackay Hospital and Health Service locations are seeking applications for an Administration Officer to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity
This position is the first point of contact for clients of the Mobile BreastScreen Queensland Mackay Service. The position is part of a multidisciplinary team, responsible for providing professional and high-quality receptionist, switchboard, data entry, data audit, and administrative support for the BreastScreen Service. Services are provided on board the Mobile Screening Van at various Mackay HHS locations. Persons interested in one specific location or multiple are encouraged to apply.
BreastScreen Service Mackay are offering temporary full time contracts, accommodation and travel allowances as applicable, to provide administration services on our mobile service at the locations within the MHHS catchment.
About the Team
The BreastScreen Queensland (BSQ) Mackay Service is part of the BreastScreen Australia and BreastScreen Queensland Programs and jointly funded by the Commonwealth and state and territory governments. The aim of the program is to reduce morbidity and mortality from breast cancer through early detection of the disease. The program provides a free population-based mammography screening and assessment service and invites women aged between 50 and 74 years to participate every two years. Women aged between 40 and 49 years and over 74 years are also eligible to access the Program.
The BSQ Mackay Service is part of Queensland Health's Mackay Hospital and Health Service (MHHS). The Service sits operationally under Stream 4, Women's & Childrens Services. The BSQ Mackay Service incorporates a static screening and assessment service located at in the Mackay city heart and a mobile service covering the Whitsunday and Hinterland locations.
