Strategic Financial Consultant
About the role:
* We are seeking a skilled Strategic Financial Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our finance function, you will be responsible for performing in-depth financial analysis and reporting to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
* You will prepare and enhance regular financial reports on performance, providing insightful commentary and highlighting key performance areas and variances to be addressed.
* This role involves developing strong relationships across the business and with our Finance Business Partners, building a reputation as a trusted advisor to leaders to support critical decision making.
* You will assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, developing budget models, uploading and downloading from Jedox, and playing a co-ordination role to ensure budgets are built and loaded within set timeframes.
* Your responsibilities will also include supporting the development of high quality forecasts informed by trend analysis and strategic objectives.
* In addition, you will provide inputs to the development of strategic plans through the financial analysis, modelling key strategic initiatives and assessing financial feasibility.
* This role requires driving process improvements within the finance team to enhance efficiency and accuracy of reporting and budget processes.
* You will collaborate closely with the Financial Control team to deliver high quality financial reporting and to identify financial risks and mitigation of these.
* As a Strategic Financial Consultant, you will perform ad hoc financial analysis and provide project and initiative support as required to address specific business matters.
Budgets and financial plans play a crucial role in the success of our organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet those needs.
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as accounting, finance, or economics is required. Experience in financial planning and analysis is also essential.
