We are headquartered in Adelaide, Australia and have clients and offices across Asia Pacific & EMEA regions Site Locations: Sydney / Melbourne Mode: Full time - Contract position Service Provider Pre-Sales Resident Engineer Role: Act as a trusted technical advocate for key Service Provider customers in Melbourne, developing and validating technical solutions using Cisco’s SP portfolio Key Responsibilities: Developing technical solutions, building labs, and creating demo or Proof of Concept (POV) environments. configure Cisco Service Provider products to meet specific customer requirements, acting as a trusted technical advocate to ensure successful business outcomes for key Service Provider clients in Melbourne. Required Skill Set: 5 years in the networking and telecommunications industry, specifically with Cisco products or key competitor offerings. Strong background in Service Provider networking, including OSPF/ISIS, BGP, Segment Routing, Layer 2 & 3 VPNs, and QoS. Typically requires a BS/BA (EE/CS). Must hold a CCNP (Service Provider or Networking), Cisco Certified DevNet Professional, or CCDP. Soft Skills: Excellent listening, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills with a team-oriented mindset. Preferred/Highly Regarded Attributes Automation: Strong skills in Service Provider routing and network automation. Programming: Network programming proficiency in Python and Ansible. Advanced Certification: CCDE or CCIE status is considered a significant plus.
