**Job Title:** Network Architect Specialist
**Job Description:
The primary function of the Network Architect Specialist is to design, develop, and implement network infrastructure solutions that meet the organization's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with executive management and department leaders to assess near- and long-term network capacity needs.
* Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.
* Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery.
* Design and deploy company LANs, and wireless networks, including routers, switches, WLCs, WAPs, UPSs, and other hardware.
* Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the networking industry.
* Oversee new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
* Interact with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors.
* Configure networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
* Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.
* Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, fax machines, and other network appliances.
* Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.
* Participate in managing all network security solutions in cooperation with the Security team.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. University degree in computer science or electrical engineering and/or 7 years equivalent work experience.
2. CCNP (Cisco certified network professional) required or applicable skills.
3. Proven experience and success with LAN and WIFI design and implementation.
4. Excellent hardware troubleshooting experience.
5. Competence with testing tools and procedures for data circuits.
6. Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
