Our client, a key employer on the Capricorn Coast, employs over 400 dedicated staff serving their community. Spanning from Keppel Sands to Stanage, it includes Yeppoon and Emu Park, plus smaller villages like Byfield and Marlborough. Their commitment to economic growth, investment, and sustainable industry is unwavering. They are currently looking for a Gardener to join their team in Yeppoon, working Monday - Friday 6am - 3pm .
Your new role
* Ensuring facilities are maintained to high standards
* General gardening and maintenance tasks
* Updating & maintaining weekly schedules for specific allocated areas
* Conduct routine upkeep and service for the necessary machinery
* Plant propagation as needed
* Manage weed control and other tasks by use of pesticides
* Oversee and support officers with lower classifications
What you'll need to succeed
* White Card
* Driver's licence & car - MR licence advantageous
* Hold an AC/DC licence or be willing to obtain
* Possess or be willing to undertake Working in Proximity to Traffic Awareness Part 1 and Part 2 online training
* Living locally in the Yeppoon region
* Must have a minimum of 4 years' experience working as a Gardener/Horticulturalist or a Certificate III in Horticulture
