About the Role Reporting to a Director of Finance, this is a hands on finance manager role with broad exposure across operations, reporting and team leadership. You will own the day to day finance function while also contributing to process improvements and strategic initiative. Leading a small, stable, high performing team, you will be a key mentor and develop staff while ensuring the smooth running of finance operations across multiple locations. Responsibilities include: Leading and mentoring a finance team, both local and interstate Delivering accurate and timely monthly management reporting and insights Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management Overseeing debtors and working capital performance Managing operational finance activites - expenses, supplier payments and key contracts Driving compliance across BAS, FBT, tax and statutory reporting Leading year end processes and managing external audit relationships Maintaining or improving current finance systems Providing ad hoc analysis to department heads and the broader business About You You are a commercially minded and hands on finance manager who enjoys operating across both detail and strategy. You are comfortable leading a small team while remaining actively involved in the numbers Strong technical accounting knowledge across financial reporting and compliance Experience leading a small team, ideally with hands on industry experience Confident communication skills Adept at building relationships across the business Proactive and solutions focused mind set A collaborative leadership style with a passion for learning, mentoring and developing others A genuine interest in finding efficiencies and improving processes CA qualified preferred Netsuite or ERP implementation experience preferred This is a rare opportunity to step into both a warm, stable team environment and step into a well rounded position with genuine ownership, visibility and opportunity for growth and development.
