We are currently partnering with a retail fit‑out contractor to secure an experienced Site Manager for a 7‑month contract on a retail project in Tasmania.
Site Manager (Contract - 7 Months)
The Project
You’ll be leading the delivery of a retail construction project, managing all on‑site activities through to completion, with a strong focus on programme, quality, and subcontractor coordination.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will take ownership of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing day‑to‑day site activities and driving programme outcomes
* Coordinating and managing subcontractors on site
* Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings and specifications
* Overseeing site safety, compliance, and quality control
* Liaising with the Project Manager and broader delivery team
* Managing site logistics and sequencing of trades
About You
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on retail or commercial projects
* Strong ability to manage subcontractors and fast‑paced programmes
* Hands‑on, proactive approach with strong leadership capability
* Solid understanding of site safety and quality requirements
* Available to commit to a 7‑month contract
