Join WTC as a Transformer Solutions Sales Engineer in our Power Transformer Business Area. This is a unique opportunity to build your career in a high-growth industry while developing key skills in sales, negotiation, communication, and technical product knowledge.

You will be supported every step of the way with training, mentoring, and exposure to real-world projects. This role is designed to help you thrive – personally and professionally.

Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with technical stakeholders on transformer solution design including electrical drawings, design and layout for client solutions.
* Reviewing product solutions through the full product lifecycle from design to test and product analysis through to installation.
* Compilation of Technical Tenders working with internal and external engineering and commercial stakeholders
* Review of Technical Specifications and compiling deliverables for tender submission
* Development of sound Technical and project solutions meeting customer needs and company objectives
* Co-ordinate technical, commercial and legal meetings with relevant stakeholders.
* Review market trends such as commodity pricing, forex and other established indices for pricing
* Co-ordinate in development of project plans working with planners
* Co-ordinate development of factory acceptance test and site acceptance test programs
* Co-ordinate Transport arrangements for projects working with stakeholders
* Review of transformer design solutions provided to clients ensuring they meet initial brief
* Ability to work with key stakeholders to troubleshoot, review and amend any problems.
* Responsible for identifying variation opportunities and actioning
* Responsible for increasing revenue by identifying and offering additional products and/or services with existing customers
* Responsible for meeting gross margin targets on contract offers set by the management team
* Responsible for meeting order intake on a pro-rata basis as set by the management team
* Responsible for meeting Win Rate on Targeted Tenders on a pro rata basis as set by the management team
* Responsible for disseminating the contract information and uploading it to the relevant programs for use of other internal stakeholders.
* Responsible for managing Customer drawings approvals in a timely manner
* Zero customer complaints on employee behaviors
What You'll Bring
* Relevant tertiary qualifications (Engineering)
* Minimum of 1 year post-qualification work experience in Electrical Engineering field in similar positions
* Tendering skills with knowledge of Power Transformer components
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
