The Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Team
The GRC team operates within our market-leading Risk and Regulatory Practice, providing comprehensive GRC solutions across various industries, with a particular focus on the financial services sector.
We help our clients navigate the complex regulatory landscape to establish and implement risk management frameworks and governance solutions that ensure compliance with relevant obligations, optimal management of operational risk, and adherence to contemporary customer and regulatory expectations.
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced GRC Director to play a leadership role in driving the growth of our practice, delivering exceptional client outcomes, and managing and developing our team. The successful candidate will possess deep technical expertise in regulatory compliance, operational risk, and conduct, along with strong client and relationship management skills, and the ability to coach and develop a team.
This role is based in our Sydney office, with hybrid working arrangements available.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Client relationship management and business development.
* Team leadership and talent development.
* Internal stakeholder relationship building and management.
* Leading the delivery of high-profile GRC engagements with many of Australia's most iconic organisations.
* Demonstrable and strong project management skills.
* Engagement Management including risk, WIP management, and billing.
* Practice management and ongoing strategy development.
Requirements
* Proven expertise across the regulatory and compliance landscape, operational and conduct risk requirements, and contemporary leading practices.
* The ability to work with clients to design and implement end-to-end governance and risk management frameworks.
* Solid knowledge of key regulations and regulator expectations, including the Corporations Act, APRA, and ASIC requirements.
* A track record of working with clients to develop and implement future-fit risk and compliance operating models, systems, and processes, that are pragmatic and commercial, and utilise analytics and automation to deliver business and customer outcomes.
* Experience working with large-scale remediation, transformation, and regulatory change programs.
* Expertise in relation to emerging regulatory requirements and focus areas for risk management, including ESG and AI risk management.
* Strong leadership and talent management experience.
* Relevant graduate and postgraduate qualifications.
