Clear Company is seeking a Head of Legal to establish and grow its legal function, while also serving as company secretary in board meetings. This role will involve working directly with the Board, executive leadership, and operational teams to provide practical legal advice.
Key responsibilities include leading commercial contract negotiations, managing regulatory obligations, serving as Company Secretary, overseeing M&A activity, establishing risk management frameworks, and providing hands-on legal advice across the business.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive legal experience gained in a leading commercial or M&A private practice environment, as well as demonstrated capability working in-house with high-growth organisations.
They will hold an unrestricted Australian practising certificate and have the ability to work autonomously as the sole legal advisor in the business. A highly independent and goal-oriented mindset, strong organisational skills, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
