About the role
TRS Staffing is currently searching for an SMP Supervisor to join our esteemed clients team based in the Pilbara. This position is based on a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth for a 3-month duration.
Duties and responsibilities
* Lead and enforce safety standards; conduct pre-starts and toolbox talks.
* Supervise SMP works including structural steel, mechanical equipment, and piping installation.
* Monitor progress against schedule and report delays or issues.
* Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
* Coordinate and manage SMP crews and subcontractors on-site.
* Liaise with engineering, procurement, and logistics for materials and equipment.
Skills and experience required
* 5 years' mining/construction experience
* Relevant Trade Certificate
* Valid Driver's Licence
* White Card
* S26 Supervisor Training & DMIRS exam
* Basic Fire, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, Gas Testing
* BHP induction highly regarded
