About the Role:
Manufacture, assemble, and test AWE water control equipment in a modern workshop.
Key Duties:
* Precision fitting and manual machining of components
* Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
* Actively contribute to safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Prepare and peer-review BOMs, ITPs, DXFs for in-house laser cutting
About You:
You're a mechanically competent, safety-focused professional with a passion for high-quality workmanship.
You'll bring:
* Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitter & Machinist) or equivalent
* Competent in operating manual centre lathes and milling machines
* Experience machining stainless steel and aluminium alloys is highly regarded
* Strong mechanical aptitude with sound drawing interpretation skills
* Safety-focused, reliable, and a strong team contributor
* Full Australian working rights
* Tickets such as Confined Space, Working at Heights, and Forklift are highly regarded (optional)
