We work closely with custom and volume builders, architects, designers, renovators,and owner builders, delivering quality products, expert advice, and reliable service across residential construction projects.
About the Role
This role is focused on showroom consulting, specification support, and builder sales, playing a key role in supporting residential construction projects from concept through to completion.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to align with BERI's broader business strategy and drive profitable, high-quality sales outcomes.
Target Market Includes:
- Residential housing for custom and volume builders
- Architectural and designer specifications for residential projects
- Cash customers / Small renovators
Key Responsibilities:
- Showroom consulting for homeowners, builders, architects, and designers
- Assisting with product selection, specifications, and documentation
- Processing orders and quotations for builders via phone and emailReviewing plans, drawings, and specifications to recommend suitable products
- Building long-term relationships with trade and design professionals
- Supporting promotional activity and attending industry events when required
About You
We are looking for a motivated and experienced sales professional who enjoys working with both trade and design-focused clients.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar showroom, sales, or specification role
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in showroom, sales, or specification roles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound knowledge of building terminology, drawings, documentation, and specifications
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
- Strong organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability, including occasional industry or client events
- Professional presentation and confident manner
- Must have Australian work authorisation
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm and every alternate Saturday from 9.00am to 12.00pm
- Passion for design, interiors, and high-quality client experiences
- Creative mindset with awareness of current industry and design trends
- Marketing awareness and confidence promoting the showroom and product range
- Proactive, self-driven attitude with leadership potential
