The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking an Information Technology Coordinator to fill a critical role at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre.
This position will play an integral part in developing safer and more resilient communities and in delivering a trusted justice and community safety system. The Corrections and Justice Services group is responsible for implementing policies, programs, and services that aim to rehabilitate offenders by addressing the underlying causes of their behavior.
The centre is a 568-bed medium to maximum-security facility for female offenders located within the West Metropolitan Region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical assistance and training to staff and management on the use of local technology resources.
* Liaise with departmental technology services on project rollouts, installation, or repair of equipment and prisoner computers.
* Act as the system administrator for local systems, including the Visit Booking System and the Electronic Compliance System.
Requirements:
* Advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Demonstrated experience in data management system development, implementation, and maintenance is desirable.
* Understanding of modern technological advancements within a facilities management portfolio would be highly regarded.
