Food Safety & Quality Manager
Location: Sydney, NSW, AU
Purpose of the Role
* Partner with site leadership to elevate food safety and quality performance
* Drive a proactive food safety and quality culture through coaching, visibility, engagement and continuous improvement
* Lead and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
* Drive strong HACCP, GFSI and customer audit outcomes, ensuring systems are effective and sustainable
* Lead internal audits, including non-conformance management and follow-through actions
* Use data, trends and insights to identify risks and drive meaningful improvement initiatives
* Support and coach teams to build capability and lift standards across the site
* Develop and mentor a direct report, providing clear direction, feedback, and support
* Contribute to broader site strategy and business performance outcomes
About You
* Degree in Food Science or related discipline
* Experience in food manufacturing / FMCG
* Strong technical capability across HACCP, GFSI standards, audits and quality systems
* Proven ability to influence and build credibility across cross‐functional teams
* Strong leadership presence with the ability to engage, coach and challenge constructively
* Able to bring others on the journey and guide outcomes through collaboration
* Previous experience coaching or mentoring team members
* Strong communication, problem‐solving and analytical skills
