Contribute to development activities on .NET Core applications, Azure components, and front-end development Your Contribution: Initially work within the Digital ID product team, with flexibility to contribute to other development squads aligned with your expertise and the business needs. Develop, enhance, and maintain high-quality .NET Core APIs and front-end web application components, ensuring timely delivery of business-critical functionality. Drive innovation and proactively facilitate improvements by creatively identifying and implementing effective, forward-thinking solutions. Effectively plan, organise, and prioritise your work activities, setting clear objectives, managing timelines, and adapting plans as necessary to meet changing priorities. Apply technical expertise in .NET and front-end technologies while continuously improving skills through hands-on experience and learning. Maintain and continuously enhance technical expertise through ongoing learning, ensuring the application of current best practices and emerging technologies. Demonstrate decisiveness and accountability by proactively addressing challenges, managing risks appropriately, and owning the outcomes of your work. Regularly research and incorporate industry best practices into application development processes. Qualifications and training 4+ years' experience in software development, including 2+ years focused on .Net Core API and system integration, and at least 1 year in front-end web development. Proven success in delivering .NET Core APIs, including system analysis, functional and technical solution design, and feasibility studies. Proficient in front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Next.js. Experience with Next.js is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus. Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework for data access and database management. Familiarity with containerized environments (e.g., Docker). Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, or Terraform. Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools. Previous exposure to Azure B2C is an advantage. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and developing stored procedures. Experience with Dependency Injection and mocking frameworks. Experience monitoring and supporting complex enterprise applications. Strong understanding of testable software design, best practices, and design patterns, producing high-quality code and regression tests while leveraging existing Bupa code libraries, patterns, and architecture. Familiarity with Agile methodologies. Experience with mocking frameworks and dependency injection (DI) design patterns; comfortable with ambiguity and exploring new, unproven ideas.
