About you
This role will effectively forecast and purchase all inventory from the company's suppliers. Additionally, it will assist in managing all logistics operations relating to the distribution activities of the company.
A high level of attention to detail, logistics and communication skills is necessary in this dynamic and engaging role.
Key Responsibilities
* Forecast planning and out-of-stock and expiry exposure mitigation for all SKUs.
* All supplier rolling forecasts are sent as per contracts and matched to purchasing.
* Demand planning based on marketing and overall product portfolio for existing and new SKUs.
* Inventory turnover optimisation, including fast- and slow-moving stock insights and planning.
* Bid request in line with forecasting and with accountability to supplier allocation needs.
* Purchase orders for Suppliers in line with forecasting and delivery planning.
* Open purchase order management.
* Purchasing efficiency based on carton quantities and storage at DC's.
* Assistance with price adjustments and master pricing data management.
* Manage internal DC-DC transfers.
* Management and optimisation of logistics documentation (including inbound delivery), along with inbound logistics management (including international freight and customs).
* Reverse Logistics - short life or oversupply.
* Logistic vendor performance management - including SLA compliance and holding accountable to them as well as cost management and savings in line with budgets.
* Logistics optimisation planning and actions - including identifying the highest efficiency/lowest cost providers for each customer region we serve and allocating volume to what is best for customers/business.
* Destruction of products.
* Create sales reports and supplier performance reporting in line with reviews.
* EOFY Auditor SOH validation.
* Timely action on assigned supplier partner requests and needs.
* Supplier key contact / Zoho - including management of the supplier portal.
* Prepare supplier reports on sales, inventory, price changes and rebates as per agreements.
* Working closely with the Quality and Warehouse Teams to coordinate stock destruction.
* Managing the purchasing Inbox and responding or escalating if required promptly.
* Conduct daily stock update, FB maintenance, and S&OP process.
* Ongoing systems training and implementation to improve and reduce manual tasks - including Netstock.
* Identification of process risks and inefficiencies to improve throughout our supply chain and logistics business.
* Supplier account management for day to day operations.
Requirements
* Have a good understanding of inventory and supply chain
* Experience in procurement and financial analysis/principles
* Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables/database skills & PowerPoint
* Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, high-quality reporting within tight timeframes
* Goal-oriented with a professional and personal development focus
* High attention to detail that will be tested
* Ability to work at a pace, multi-task and alternate between rolling your sleeves and contributing
* A history of punctuality and reliability
* Tech-savvy with computer processing skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
* Ability to be agile and dynamic in a consistently evolving environment

Other items required:
* Australian working rights for at least 3 years.
* Must be willing to undertake a National Police Check.
* Unrestricted full driver's licence.
