Machining Role Overview

This is a skilled role involving the setup and operation of CNC machines to achieve precise results.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in precision engineering or toolmaking, with strong skills in CNC programming and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC milling machines and grinders to manufacture precision components.
Work from engineering drawings to ensure accuracy and quality.
Select and secure fixtures and cutting tools for machining processes.
Verify product quality using precision measuring equipment.
Edit CNC programs and troubleshoot operations as needed.
Perform routine machine maintenance to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Work safely at all times following health & safety regulations.
Qualifications
Trade Qualified with 3-5 years' experience in precision engineering or toolmaking.
Strong CNC setup and operational skills.
Proficient with CAD/CAM software and/or G-code programming.
Able to accurately interpret and work from engineering drawings.
Self-motivated with a high standard of workmanship and minimal supervision.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
