Job Summary

\

This is a pivotal role within our organization that will be instrumental in the development and implementation of our sustainability strategy.

\

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and reporting on our sustainability data, including carbon accounting.

\

They will work closely with internal and external clients to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

\

Key Responsibilities

1. Create and implement reporting structures for sustainability, ensuring accuracy and validity of data

2. Collect, examine, and interpret data on sustainability to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements
\
3. Work closely with internal and external clients to manage and report sustainability data
\
4. Develop and implement strategies to improve sustainability performance
\
5. Conduct research and analysis to support sustainability initiatives
\
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve sustainability goals
\
7. Provide thought leadership and expertise on sustainability matters
\
8. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in sustainability
\
9. Manage and maintain relationships with stakeholders and vendors related to sustainability initiatives
\
10. Prepare and present reports and presentations to senior management and other stakeholders
\
11. Assist in the development of sustainability policies and procedures
\
12. Support the organization's overall strategic objectives
\
13. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and outcomes
\
14. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to sustainability
\
15. Identify and mitigate risks associated with sustainability initiatives
\
16. Monitor and report on key sustainability metrics
\
17. Develop and implement training programs for employees on sustainability-related topics
\
18. Collaborate with HR to develop and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives
\
19. Develop and implement employee engagement and retention strategies
\
20. Partner with marketing to develop and implement branding and communications strategies
\
21. Support the development of business cases for sustainability initiatives
\
22. Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes related to sustainability initiatives
\
23. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization on sustainability matters
\
24. Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders
\
25. Engage with regulatory bodies and industry associations to stay informed on best practices and emerging trends
\
26. Attend workshops, conferences, and seminars to advance knowledge and skills
\
27. Stay current with local and global market trends and best practices in sustainability
\
28. Other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or executive team
\
29. Address and resolve any issues arising from sustainability initiatives
\
30. Consult and collaborate with experts and subject matter specialists when needed
\
31. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security in relation to sustainability data
\
32. Implement change management strategies to support organizational growth and transformation
\
33. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and contractors related to sustainability initiatives
\
34. Engage with government agencies, NGOs, and private sector organizations to promote sustainability initiatives
\
35. Plan and execute projects related to sustainability initiatives
\
36. Lead and participate in special projects related to sustainability
\
37. Provide feedback and coaching to team members to enhance their performance and capabilities
\
38. Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment and integration of sustainability initiatives
\
39. Perform other duties as required to support the organization's objectives
\

96. Investigate emerging trends, best practices, and innovative solutions related to sustainability
\
97. Support and enable operational excellence in the delivery of sustainability services
\
98. Partner with finance to develop and implement fiscal sustainability strategies
\
99. Maintain accurate and timely records of all sustainability-related transactions
\
100. Employ sustainability concepts and methods to analyze complex systems and problems
\
101. Review and evaluate organizational documents and materials for sustainability content and messaging
\
102. Apply creative problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges and setbacks

103. Ensure smooth operations and continuity of work during periods of significant change

104. May require travel to conduct site visits, attend meetings, or perform fieldwork
\
105. Will spend approximately 50% of time indoors, 30% outdoors, and 20% traveling
\
106. Work schedule will be Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evenings and weekends
\
107. Travel may be required to remote sites, client locations, or corporate offices
\
108. Occasional overtime may be required to meet project deadlines or respond to urgent issues
\
109. Valid driver's license and passport required
\
110. Background check and credit check may be required prior to employment
\
111. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, push/pull 100 pounds, stand/walk for extended periods, and climb stairs
\
112. Must have good visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills

113. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

114. Working conditions include indoor office setting with minimal noise level, frequent use of computer software and hardware, and frequent communication with colleagues and stakeholders via phone, email, or video conference

115. Physical demands require moderate to heavy physical exertion, particularly during outdoor work
\
116. Must be willing to undergo additional training or certification if necessary

117. Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if required
