About the Role

Working closely with our Chief Operations Officer, you'll be at the heart of ModnPods' accounting and financial reporting functions. This role is perfect for an accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can add value in a manufacturing and construction context.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Supporting operations of Modnpods with quality financial reporting and analysis.
* Working closely with business leaders to support decision making.
* Preparation of monthly management reporting, ensuring GL reconciliations and accounting controls are complete and effective.
* Preparing financial reports and analysis for leadership team and the Board.
* Cashflow forecasting and treasury management.
* Daily financial processing in Netsuite, including AP processing, vendor reconciliations, bank and credit card reconciliations.
* Processing fortnightly payroll through Xero
* Maintain & manage project invoicing and progress claims with Project Managers.
* Cost accounting & review of project profitability.
* Improving systems and processes across the finance function.
* Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
What We're Looking For:
* A minimum of 3 years' commercial accounting experience.
* Degree qualified accountant, with CA or CPA membership highly desirable.
* Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to communicate financial topics to different audiences.
* A collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
* Netsuite experience & Xero payroll experience are desirable.
