The National Insurance & Health Team
Our Insurance & Health team is headed by 32 industry-leading principals across six states. Within the insurance space, our award-winning team is known for producing high-quality advice and delivering exceptional client service. The team handles claims across all major classes of insurance and acts for the biggest names in the insurance industry, both locally and overseas.
The Role
Due to growth, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate / Special Counsel level lawyer to join our close-knit financial lines team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will work in a collegiate team led by two respected financial lines Principals, Hubert Wajszel and Scott Shelly.
The role involves defending a variety of claims brought against directors, officers, companies, and professionals across the legal, financial services, construction, and property industries.
The Successful Candidate
We would love to hear from you if you possess the following skills, experience, and attributes:
- Defendant insurance experience (preferably professional indemnity);
- Ability to build strong client relationships with a focus on client service;
- Solid file management skills;
- Effective communication skills; and
- Collaborative and pragmatic approach.
