The Bunbury Farmers Market is Australia's leading independent Fresh Food Retailer. We are based in Bunbury, Western Australia in one of the most liveable areas in Australia. We pride ourselves on providing high quality fresh food. We source our produce from over 150 local growers, and also create a 'Market Made' range of fresh meal choices made on the premises. Together with our partners Hancock Prospecting, we are poised for rapid growth in the coming years that includes our new store in Vasse that opened December 2024 followed by a planned Perth store in 2027. Role Summary

Are you a dynamic and motivated individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences in the retail industry? Do you have proven leadership skills and a drive for excellence? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Store Duty Manager.

Store Duty Managers are required at both our Bunbury and Vasse Stores

Responsibilities:

As the Store Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our bustling Fresh Food Store.

Lead and inspire a team of dedicated retail associates, ensuring they uphold our high standards and deliver top-notch customer service.

Implement and maintain store policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure a seamless and efficient operation.

Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the Inventory Management team to ensure optimal stock availability and minimal wastage.

Oversee the store's visual merchandising and ensure the store's layout is appealing, clean, and organised at all times.

Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly to guarantee customer satisfaction.

Implement health and safety regulations to ensure the store remains a safe environment for both employees and customers.

Qualifications & Accountability

Previous experience in a retail management position is essential, with a proven track record of successful leadership.

A passion for the retail industry and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Excellent organisational and time-management skills to manage the store efficiently.

Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of retail associates.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with a positive attitude.

Flexibility to work on one day of the weekend as part of the regular work schedule.

Knowledge and understanding of Fresh Food Store operations and relevant health and safety regulations will be advantageous.
