Product Owner – Education Platform Contract until January 2026 | Sydney-based | Hybrid (2–3 days onsite/week)
Daily Rate: $900–$1100 + GST (flexible for the right candidate)

We’re looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead the evolution of an innovative Education Platform, serving a broad range of users including learners, corporate partners, and key stakeholders.
In this role, you’ll drive the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of digital systems supporting student applications and participant management. You’ll also act as the bridge between business needs and technical execution—ensuring user-focused solutions that align with organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Represent platform user needs and deliver solutions aligned with learner and partner expectations
* Lead stakeholder engagement across faculties and business units
* Manage complex programs of work using Agile (SAFe) principles
* Analyse data to guide planning and decision-making
* Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver business line products
* Balance multiple priorities while ensuring delivery on time and to quality standards

Knowledge & Experience
* Solid understanding of Agile delivery, ideally with exposure to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
* Extensive experience in product ownership, project management, and stakeholder management
* Strong background in the education sector, particularly with non-traditional learning models (e.g., online, modular, SFLs)
* Proven ability to manage and prioritise a product backlog in cross-functional teams
* Demonstrated experience in portfolio development and delivery within large organisations
* Familiarity with the postgraduate learning landscape and digital learning innovation
