**Your role**
We are looking to recruit an experienced leasing paralegal who is able to successfully manage high volume and high quality leasing work. In this role you will manage your own files and be responsible for preparing, negotiating and progressing clients' leases. You will deal directly with clients and conduct negotiations with our client's tenants and their lawyers. In this role you will work alongside Partner Jakob Paartalu and his team, however, there will also be close contact with other leading lawyers working in the broader national team.
**What you need**
- previous leasing experience in a busy, high volume role (telecommunications experience is desirable)
- an ability to work as part of a team sharing files and ideas as appropriate
- exceptional client service skills and responsiveness
- a keen eye for detail and the ability to consistently produce accurate, high quality work
- an interest in contributing to process improvement and systems
- the initiative and drive to take ownership of your matters and client portfolios
- strong IT skills
- a proactive approach and positive attitude.

The Sydney Real Estate team is led by partners, Jakob Paartalu, Julie Purbrick, Alice Langham, Rachel McNaught, David McElhone, Joanne Moore and Owen Kiely. The team offers a comprehensive range of property-related legal services for developers, investors, owners, landlords, property funds managers, listed property trusts and government.
Our clients are sophisticated and savvy, ranging from major institutional property investors, developers, landlords and tenants on all aspects of commercial, industrial, retail and residential property including capital transactions (acquisitions and disposals), large scale developments, major projects and leasing.
