The Role
We are currently seeking expressions of interest to join our Telecommunications Educational Delivery team at TAFE Queensland's Eagle Farm Campus. As a Casual TAFE Teacher within the Security, Telecommunications and Locksmithing trade, you have the opportunity to influence the careers of future industry professionals by sharing your extensive industry knowledge to students in a classroom or other educational setting. This position reports to the relevant Business Manager.

Mandatory Requirements
- Applicants must possess UEE31425 Certificate III in Security Equipment, or MEM30919 Certificate III in Locksmithing, or equivalent, and the following:
- Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided
- Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided
- Evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency‐based training and assessment
Additional Requirements
Additionally, to become a TAFE Queensland teacher you must hold, or be willing to obtain, a qualification in adult education. Primarily this qualification is TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent. Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience must be provided at interview.
