The Opportunity
In this role, you'll collaborate with some of Australia's most experienced geotechnical professionals and contribute to:
* Site investigations and ground characterisation
* Foundation and retention system design
* Soil-structure interaction and finite element modelling
* Slope stability, ground improvement, and working platform assessments
* Temporary works and construction phase support
* Project management and client engagement
* Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical leadership
* Report writing, both factual (e.g. site logs, test results) and interpretive (e.g. design recommendations, risk assessments)
What Were Looking For
* Degree in Civil Engineering (postgraduate qualification in Geotechnical Engineering preferred)
* Strong technical design experience (2D/3D FEM, slope stability, foundations)
* Proficiency in geotechnical software and spreadsheet-based analysis
* Skilled in interpreting lab and in-situ test data
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Full driver's licence
