DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Freight Forwarder, Export Air in Perth.
The position is responsible for arranging and directing the transportation and shipment of export consignments from origin to destination by compiling, completing and verifying required documents in accordance with company policy and procedure and external body regulations.
Your typical day at DSV:
1. Manage export sea consignments end-to-end, ensuring all shipments meet customer requirements, KPIs, and regulatory standards.
2. Process exports in line with established workflows, customer instructions, SOPs, and management directives.
3. Coordinate with the Export Air team, clients, and service providers to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
4. Troubleshoot export-related issues by liaising with airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, co-loaders, and customers.
5. Accurately enter and maintain shipment data in CargoWise One (CW1), including EDNs, CRNs, costings, and weight calculations.
6. Plan and prioritise shipments using the Export Workbench, support continuous process improvements, and assist the Senior Team Lead and Manager as required.
About you:
7. Experience in a similar export role within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
8. Strong working knowledge of CargoWise One (CW1) and export documentation requirements.
9. Process-driven with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines and priorities effectively.
10. Collaborative team player with strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
11. Adaptable and resilient, with a desire to grow and develop in a dynamic, evolving business.
12. Working knowledge of relevant industry regulations, including RACA, IATA, and Dangerous Goods.
