Project Engineer – Infrastructure
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Infrastructure to join a high-performing team delivering major transport and infrastructure projects across Victoria.
This is a 9-month engagement, based in Melbourne, with minimal travel to Geelong.
The Role As a Project Engineer – Infrastructure, you will play a key role in the planning, development, and delivery of civil and track/tunnel engineering activities.
You'll contribute to the design, investigation, and implementation of engineering solutions, while ensuring all works are delivered to approved standards and in line with safety and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Define project scope, requirements, and engineering solutions to deliver activities on time and to standard.
* Lead aspects of design development, delivery, and structural works across civil and track/tunnel infrastructure.
* Conduct design reviews, identify anomalies, and provide technical advice.
* Support the development of standards, inspection and testing plans, and maintenance schedules.
* Provide technical input into rail/tunnel infrastructure investigations and solutions.
About You To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
* Registered Professional Engineer Victoria (RPEV) in Civil Engineering.
* Degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline) and ideally AIPM accreditation.
* 3+ years' experience delivering infrastructure projects.
* Background in rail, track, civil, or structural projects (advantageous but not essential).
* Strong technical and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across disciplines.
* A proactive approach to problem solving, negotiation, and project delivery.
