Senior Manager – Restructuring & Recovery | Canberra
A Global Top 10 Mid-Tier Accounting & Advisory Firm is seeking an experienced Restructuring & Recovery Senior Manager to join their highly regarded team in Canberra, ACT.
This is a high-impact leadership role for an insolvency professional looking to take the next step toward Director and ultimately Partnership, with strong exposure to complex engagements and the opportunity to lead from the front.
You will play a key role in managing restructuring and insolvency matters while supporting senior leadership and developing junior team members.
The Role As Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing engagements across a broad range of industries and supporting the delivery of high-quality restructuring and insolvency services.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing a portfolio of corporate and personal insolvency engagements
* Advising clients on restructuring strategies and turnaround options
* Supporting and leading liquidations, receiverships, voluntary administrations, and bankruptcy matters
* Preparing and reviewing major reports and stakeholder communications
* Conducting independent business reviews and cash flow forecasting
* Managing asset realisation and sale processes
* Liaising with creditors, legal advisors, and other key stakeholders
* Mentoring and developing junior staff
* Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and professional requirements
About You
* Strong experience across corporate and personal insolvency
* Exposure to bankruptcy and Part X arrangements
* Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and stakeholders
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Experience reviewing reports and guiding junior team members
