As their portfolio of civil and building projects across Southeast Queensland continues to expand, they’re seeking a Principal Civil (or Structural) Engineer to lead and grow their Gold Coast office.
The Opportunity
This senior position offers the chance to lead the design and delivery of a diverse range of civil and structural projects - spanning land development, infrastructure, and multi‑storey building structures. You’ll provide technical leadership, guide project teams, and ensure outcomes align with program, budget, and quality expectations.
You’ll have the autonomy to manage major projects, mentor developing engineers, and build strong relationships with clients. Based in the Gold Coast office, you’ll play a key role in shaping the local team and contributing to the broader growth strategy of the business.
About You
You’re a strategic, solutions‑focused professional who thrives on leading teams, driving quality, and delivering practical outcomes in the built environment. You’re confident engaging with clients, guiding project direction, and contributing to business development when required.
You’ll also bring:
* Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Strong technical capability in your discipline (civil, structural, or both)
* Ability to lead projects and mentor junior and intermediate engineers
* Confidence in client liaison and stakeholder management
* A collaborative mindset and strong commercial awareness
