We are seeking a Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of Cannabis NB store in Bathurst.
Reporting to the District Manager, the Store Manager is accountable for all aspects of the retail experience, including coaching and mentoring the team, inventory management, customer satisfaction, merchandizing, and executing on business goals and objectives.
The Manager is also a role model who exemplifies Customer Experience, drives a culture of continuous improvement, and sets the standards for success .
Additional responsibilities include Leading and coaching through the company vision, mission, and core valuesManaging budget and store operational costsDriving revenue to meet and exceed corporate sales initiativesMonitoring inventory levels, ordering stock as needed, and completing reportsFinding operational efficiencies, addressing and resolving problems as they ariseAbout you You bring a strong understanding of store operations and management processes, including profitability, health, safety, marketing, and merchandizing.
You have a passion for delivering an exceptional in-store experience and ensuring that your team members have the training and skills required to help our customers select the best products for their needs.
You are an important contributor to Cannabis NB's overall success through constant communication, continuous feedback, and recognizing top talent.
Your coaching skills You will provide regular coaching and feedback, including performance support and training opportunities, and are adept at creating development plans to support the team in their growth.
You are comfortable having tough conversations and holding people accountable for results.
You celebrate success while fostering an environment of open and honest communication, where everyone is empowered to bring suggestions forward, and challenged to do their best.
Your retail leadership skills You are a key member of the Retail Experience team and help balance risk while considering employee engagement, store performance, and business perspectives.
As a mentor to your Team Leads, you are skilled at creating a culture of best practices, and ensuring that processes are efficient, effective, and value-added.
In collaboration with your District Manager, you will contribute to new initiatives and special projects to support the retail network across the province.
What do you need to be successful? Degree or diploma in Business Administration or similar5+ years in retail managementExcellent leadership and decision-making abilitiesExperience managing budgetsIt would be fantastic if you also had Strong background in coaching and mentoring geographically-dispersed teamsExcellent analytical skills to review sales reports, revenue projections, and forecastsBilingualism in both official languages is required.Note Only candidates with legal authorization to work in Canada will be consideredMust be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekendsWhat's in it for You?
