We are seeking a skilled and compassionate leader to support our team of volunteer drivers. The successful candidate will have experience in aged care, disability, or community services and strong leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
The role involves mentoring and supporting new volunteer drivers, providing ongoing guidance and training, assisting with communication and volunteer engagement activities, and ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained across transport services.
A key focus of this role is delivering safe, respectful, and reliable transport to clients, including mobility assistance, while maintaining accurate records and contributing to service area improvement initiatives.
Furthermore, the ideal candidate will be passionate about volunteerism and understand its unique dynamics, thrive in a busy people-focused environment, hold a current driver's license, and be physically capable of assisting clients.
The successful candidate will also hold a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support, or Community Services (or equivalent experience) and be willing to obtain First Aid and CPR certification.
